Tulku: Doors to ParadiseTenaMoore.com said Aug 19, 2007, 2:58 PM:I received my copy of “Tulku: Doors to Paradise”. It’s a gorgeous compilation of world music ranging from ambient to downtempo to chill out, to mild world beat dance…I love it. Very diverse and beautiful! Here’s the link with a lot of samples: http://www.newearthrecords.com/web/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=18&idproduct=1344 It’s produced by Jim Wilson, and has vocals by Tina Malia, Sita Jameison, Nubia Teixeira, Jai Uttal and more. I took this from the inside CD cover: “In this latest incarnation of the Tulku series we are graced with new voices and music from South Africa, Bangladesh, Morocco, Brazil and Europe. Our endevour is based on a shared vision of bringing together cultures and musical traditions from around the world into a new form.” Check it out. ☺ New Earth has a MySpace page too: http://www.myspace.com/newearthrecords Let me know what you think. Any other suggestions for music like this? |
