I finally hit the big time, bitches! My first two ukulele songs were just featured on www.ukulelehunt.com, one of the premier ukulele blogs in the known universe. Al, the mysterious curator of this ukulele gallery, not only plugged my own "absolutely fascinating" blog but said I am "one of the most innovative musicians around using the ukulele" (which is pretty awesome, considering there are people out there like Jake Shimabukuro) and even went out on a limb to admit he was "blown away" by my guitar playing (and risked being torn asunder by outraged ukelele fundamentalists).
Plus, my mention of a forthcoming touchstyle ukulele piece inspired him to record his own (his video is posted here). Whoo!
You can read the whole write-up, download mp3s of my ukulele songs, watch the Integral Naked-produced music video for "It Hurts So We're Not Dead," and open your world to a million other moments of inconceivable ukulele beauty, right here:
Rest, my child. Your search is over.
And here's their page on myspace.
Thank you, ukulelehunt.com!
