This is the epicenter of a collective re-envisioning of the relationship between art, science, culture, business, and spirituality - the seed for a global network of creatives eager to "put play to work" by using our creative gifts in the service of loving effort.
My focus is on applying music to this end...but I hold a pretty broad definition of "music." The entire world emerges from the interference patterns between waves, so all creative activity can be considered the song of the universe. I invite anyone with a passion for making art out of life to join me, and the rest of the amazing people in this community, in an exploration of this perspective's far-reaching implications.
Here are just a few of the many articles, essays, and videos I post in the Visionary Music blog:
What is "Visionary Music?"(...a brief introduction)
Psychoactive Vibes(...on the relationship between light, sound, and consciousness)
Transcending Possessiveness in Love and Music(...on polyamory as a model for creative and economic liberty)
The Ear of the Beholder: Tantra and My "Desert Island" Playlist(...on finding - and being - the beauty in everything)
"Making It All Click" interviews Michael Garfield(...where I expound at length on my vision for this community)
What Is Integral Art? (Or, How To Spot An Integral Artist) (...on a new wave of multiperspectivism in the creative process)
Art Beyond Irony: MG Interviews Ken Wilber, Part One (...on the distinction between postmodern and integral art)
There are several excellent discussions underway - and a directory of the music created by Zaadz members - at the link above. If you would like to get involved with our projects (including
benefit compilations, live music events, and more), sign up for the newsletter so we can stay in touch! We're just getting started, and I'm excited to have you bring your unique understanding and expression to this as it unfolds.
Don't hesitate to email me, and have a beautiful day!
